Satelec Piezotome Satelec Piezotome is a piezoelectrical generátor intended for a surgical use, especially for pre-implantation surgery. Thanks to the special combination of micro and macro ultrasonic vibrations enables precise and distinctively less invasive method of the treatment.

Among the main advantages of the treatment with the instrument Satelec Piezotome belongs first of all smaller hurtfulness and post-operative manifestations (as for example: the swelling, pain, etc.), faster healing of the operated area and thanks to the gentle and precise work as well much higher fruitfulness at administration of demanding surgical operations. This instrument can be also successfully used by the tooth extractions, when is in the local anaesthesia the tooth rounded with special end-piece of the Piezotome, thereby is reached the release of the tooth and this tooth can be easily extracted out of the socket without the use of a force.

The operations, where is this instrument used:

• Extraction
• Spiltting - extension of the bone during the implantation, in the cases when the bone isn´t for the implant strong enough, is the bone incised by special end-piece in the middle of the alveolar ridge and is dilated, thereby is gained enough space for the implant without the need of thickening of the bone per using the augments materials.
• Sinus lift - is a surgical operation in upper jaw, when we build the sufficient height of the bone for the implants in the place of antrum of Highmore. We lift the integument of the antrum of Highmore and we fill this partially with the artificial bone material. By the help of Piezotome we create in the bone little window which enables us the access to the antrum of Highmore.
• Osteoplasic - shaping of the surfaces and smoothing of the sharp edges of the alveolar ridge, that often stay after the extractions. In this case can be the end-piece of the Piezotome used as a xyster (scraper), which smothes the sharp edges.
